On November 1, 2015, Tajikistan Foreign Minister Sirodjidin Aslov participated in the First meeting of the ministers of Central Asia and the United States of America, which was held in Samarkand on the “C5+1” framework.
The foreign ministers of the six countries discussed trade and investment, transportation and communication, and humanitarian issues, such as economic growth, the importance of water and energy recourses management, regional security and stability, as well as human dimension and educational cultural cooperation.
Also, the foreign ministers exchanged views on current important regional and global political issues.
