Bilateral relations of Tajikistan with Norway
Diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Norway were established on June 29, 1992.

Political cooperation (exchange of the visits). Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs twice visited Tajikistan. The first visit took place in 1999, when Norway was chairing the OSCE, and the second visit was carried out in 2004. The Norwegian delegation of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly visited Tajikistan in 2012.
On December 6, 2018 in Milan, Italy, in the margins of the 25th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Ine Marie Eriksen Soreide met.
On September 21, 2021 in the margins of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway Ine Marie Eriksen Suraide.
Economic cooperation. The foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Kingdom of Norway in January-November 2023 amounted to 562,3 thousand U.S. export 562,3 import 00
Legal base of the bilateral cooperation has not yet been fully established.
Signed documents: Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway and the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, signed on April 27, 2010.
