Presentation of Letter of Credence to the Emperor of Japan

On December 9, 2015 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Hamrokhon Zarifi presented Letters of Credence to His Majesty the Emperor of Japan Akihito.

After the ceremony, which was held at Imperial Palace, a meeting in warm atmosphere took place. Ambassador conveyed the heartfelt greetings and best wishes of health and well-being of His Majesty, and the prosperity and peace to the people of Japan from the President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

The Emperor of Japan mentioned that remembers his meeting and important talks with His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. The Emperor requested the Ambassador to convey his greetings to His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

Emperor Akihito expressed his opinion about the successful visit of Prime Minister of Japan to Tajikistan. Tajik Ambassador also emphasized that the visit was productive and important for both countries.

Emperor Akihito wished success to the Ambassador of Tajikistan in his important mission of the further development of the Tajik-Japanese cooperation.

After the ceremony the Ambassador exchanged views on prospects for further development of the Tajik-Japanese cooperation with the Minister of Justice of Japan Mitsuhide Iwaki, who was also present at the ceremony.
