Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Minister with the Country Director of the United Nations Population Fund

On December 10, 2015 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi received the Country Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan Ms. Mieko Yabuta.  

During the meeting sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and UNFPA in the areas of population and development, the strengthening of women's reproductive health, increasing awareness of  educational activities among the youth on health, gender equality, as well as the launch of the fourth UNFPA country program for Tajikistan for 2016- 2020.
