Financial aid from Kingdom of Thailand

The Government of the Kingdom of Thailand through its Embassy in the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Astana) has provided emergency financial assistance for elimination of consequences of natural disasters in Badakhshan and other mountainous region of Tajikistan. Handover ceremony took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan on 30 January 2016.

Nazirmad Alizoda, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kazakhstan conveyed the gratitude of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Government of Thailand. He has noted that this assistance symbolizes solidarity and close relationship between peoples of Tajikistan and Thailand and will further significantly contribute to the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between two friendly countries.
