Meeting with the delegation of the European Union

On April 21 2016 the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan  Nizomiddin Zohidi has met with the delegation of the European Union headed by the EU Special Representative for Central Asia Peter Burian.

During the meeting the following issues have been discussed:  cooperation between the EU and Tajikistan, strengthening of cooperation on implementation of the National Strategy on Sustainable Development of Tajikistan for the period until 2030, upcoming meeting of the EU-Central Asia High Level Political and Security Dialogue, regional cooperation and security, water-energy and other international issues of mutual interest.

At the meeting Jobst von Kirchmann - Head of the Development Coordination Unit (DG DEVCO) of European Commission, Filiberto C. Sebregondi – Head of Development Cooperation Coordination Division of UEAS, Malgorzata Wasilewska – Head of Conflict Prevention, Peace Building and Mediation Division of UEAS,  Berenice Muraille – Head of Sector for Central Asia (DG DEVCO), Ambassador Hidajet Biscevic - Head of EU Delegation to Tajikistan and other members of delegation were attended.
