On the State Visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan K.K. Tokayev

On August 22-23, 2024, at the invitation of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the visit, Tajik-Kazakh high-level talks will be held in a narrow format and as part of government delegations.

A solid package of documents has been prepared for signing, the most significant of which will be the Treaty on Allied Relations.

The heads of state will also take part in a gala concert to mark the opening of the Kazakhstan Culture Days in Tajikistan.

The program of the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan includes meetings with the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan M. Zokirzoda and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Q. Rasulzoda.

As part of the state visit, the capital of Tajikistan will host several parallel bilateral events, including a business forum, conference of scientists, a women's forum, a youth forum, Kazakh cinema days, an exhibition of Kazakh fine arts and folk crafts, the unveiling ceremony of a bust of Abay Kunanbayev in Dushanbe, as well as concerts in the cities of Bokhtar and Khujand.
