The splendor of State independence in Qatar

On September 15, 2024, in Doha, State of Qatar, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan held a solemn event in honor of the 33rd anniversary of State Independence.     

The event was attended by ministers and senior leadership of government agencies of Qatar, ambassadors of foreign states, representatives of civil society, economic, trade, scientific and cultural circles, entrepreneurs, the media and compatriots living in Qatar.

Opening the event, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Qatar Nurmurod Mahmadali emphasised that state independence is the greatest value and national achievement of the Tajik people, and today Tajikistan is steadily developing thanks to the tireless efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E Emomali Rahmon.

At the same time, on September 15, 2024, at the initiative of the Embassy, ​​the building of the “Sheraton Grand Hotel Doha” was decorated with the colors of the national flag of Tajikistan.
