Presentation of agricultural products of the Republic of Tajikistan in Akmola region of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On September 28, 2024, a fair for the sale of agricultural products of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the city of Kokshetau, Akmola region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Ibodzoda Khayrullo and Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov.

At the fair, citizens of Akmola region were presented with 30 types of agricultural products in the amount of 400 tons, such as melons, fresh vegetables and fruits, 100 tons of canned products, drinking water, fruit and vegetable juices, dried fruits, confectionery and others.

Also, within the framework of the above-mentioned event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Khayrullo Ibodzoda held meetings with the Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov, his deputies, heads of the central office of Akmola region and representatives of the Tajik diaspora, as well as citizens of the country working in Akmola region.

During the meeting with the Akmola region`s  akim, a wide range of issues of bilateral relations were considered, the great importance of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Akmola region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expansion of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, tourism, attracting direct investment and using Tajikistan's export opportunities, close interaction between the industrial and agricultural regions of both countries was noted.
