Participation in the 17th Session of Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Forum “Central Asia - Republic of Korea”

On November 4, 2024, the 17th Session of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Cooperation Forum “Central Asia - the Republic of Korea” was held in Seoul, which was attended by the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sodiq Imomi.

During his speech, the head of the Tajik delegation shared the country's vision of expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Republic of Korea and the countries of Central Asia within this effective format.

On the sidelines of the Cooperation Forum, four thematic sessions were held in the areas of supply chain, environment and climate change, tourism and information and communication technologies in offline and virtual formats.

The participants of the meeting exchanged views on important issues on the agenda, the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.

As a result of the meeting, the Joint Statement of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Work Plan of the Secretariat of the “Central Asia-Republic of Korea” Cooperation Forum for 2025 were adopted.
