Minister’s participation in a joint meeting of the CFM, the CMD, the CSSC of the CSTO

On November 28, 2024, in Astana, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin and consisting of the Minister of Defense Sherali Mirzo and the Secretary of the Security Council Nasrullo Mahmudzoda took part in the joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

The heads of the delegations exchanged views on the military-political situation in the regions of the collective security, during the chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in CSTO and heard information on priority areas of activity during the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan S.Muhriddin during the speech presented the country's vision for further strengthening multilateral cooperation within the Organization, also emphasizing the situation in the Central Asian region of collective security.

As a result of the joint meeting, a draft Declaration of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO and several decisions of the heads of state were adopted for further consideration.
