Meeting of the Secretariat “Central Asia – United States” in C5+1 format

On September 4, 2025, the meeting of the Secretariat “Central Asia – United States of America” ​​in the C5+1 format was held in Dushanbe with the participation of senior officials of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the countries of the region and the U.S. Department of State.

During the meeting, the participants considered the current state and prospects for the development of this cooperation format. In particular, an exchange of views took place on the proposals and intentions of the parties to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the “C5+USA” platform, intensifying efforts in the field of economic diplomacy, including within the framework of the “B5+1” Forum to promote the fostering of business and investment ties and the Critical Minerals Dialogue, as well as improving the coordination activities of the “C5+1” Secretariat in terms of organizing meetings of Foreign Ministers and special working groups.

The representatives of participating states also discussed the details of the agenda of the planned activities and expressed the readiness of their countries to expand the partnership in this format.
