Presentation of credentials to the President of Nepal

On December 21, 2016, a ceremony of presentation of Credentials by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan with residence in New Delhi Mirzosharif Jalolov to the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, Her Excellency Bidhya Devi Bhandari took place in the Presidential Palace of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal "Rashtrapati Bhavan".

After the Ceremony, the President received the Ambassador in the presence of key ministers of the Government of Nepal. During the meeting, the President and the Ambassador exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual interest. In particular, given the climatic and geographical conditions of the two countries, the need for the exchange of experience and cooperation in areas such as glaciology and elimination of consequences of natural disasters were underlined.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Nepal asked the Ambassador to convey her sincere wishes to the Founder of Peace and National Unity,  the Leader of Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the people of Tajikistan.
