Regular meeting of the "Water Friends" Group

On 10 February 2017 the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations H.E. Mr. Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov participated and addressed the regular meeting of the Water Friends Group, which was held at the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the UN in New York.

During his statement Mr. M. Mahmadaminov provided information to participants with regards to the adoption of International Decade “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028” and its importance to facilitate the promotion of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During the meeting participants have also exchanged views on the major global water agenda issues.
