Ambassador of Tajikistan meets with the Algerian Foreign Minister

On February 20, 2017 in Algiers, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Mr. Ramtane Lamamra received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Algeria Mr. Khusrav Noziri on the occasion of presentation of copies of his credentials.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, while welcoming the appointment of Tajikistan’s first Ambassador to his country, emphasized the importance of this event for the further development of the bilateral Tajik-Algerian relations. Referring to the first official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Emomali Rahmon to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria paid on March 10-12, 2008, in which the package of important bilateral agreements was signed, the Algerian Foreign Minister pointed out that that visit has laid a strong and solid foundation for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two friendly countries in various areas.

At the end of the meeting the sides stressed the need to continue and strengthen the fruitful cooperation between the two countries both on bilateral basis and within international and regional organizations.
