Meeting with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia

On 12th of October 2017 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov received the EU Special Representative for Central Asia Mr. Peter Burian.

During the meeting the following issues have been discussed: bilateral cooperation between the EU and Tajikistan; strengthening of cooperation on implementation of the National Development Strategy of Tajikistan for the period until 2030; economic situation in the country; the security and regional issues; and other issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador Hidajet Biscevic – Head of EU Delegation to Tajikistan, Mr. Roland Honekamp – Tajikistan’s Desk Officer of the European External Action Service and Mr. Raimonds Vingris – Political Advisor to the EU Special Representative for Central Asia also attended the meeting.
