Meeting with the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Mr. Yuri Fedotov

On October 19, 2017, on the sidelines of the political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Austrian Republic in Vienna, Mr. Muzaffar Huseynzoda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan has met with Mr. Yuri Fedotov, the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The parties have discussed the main aspects of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and UNODC, as well issues related to anti-drug activities at the regional level.

It was noted that the Republic of Tajikistan is one of the important partners of UNODC in the fight against illicit trafficking of drugs produced in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
