Meeting of the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN with the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations-Нead of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office

On 29 May 2018 at the UN Headquarters a meeting between the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN Mr. Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Counter-Head of the UN Terrorism Office Mr. Vladimir Voronkov was held.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the outcome of the International Conference “Countering Terrorism and Preventing Violent Extremism”, which took place in Dushanbe on 3-4 May 2018. The parties also discussed the issues of strengthening cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN counter-terrorism structures, as well as the prospects of joint actions in this area.
