Breakfast working meeting of the Water Friends Group

On 6 July 2018 in the Permanent Mission of Tajikistan to the United Nations in New York there was held a working breakfast meeting of the Group of Friends of Water.

At the meeting Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN Mr. M. Mahmadaminov provided detailed information on the implementation of the new initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon International Decade for action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028”, and briefed the Group members on the outcome of the International Conference in Dushanbe on the Decade held on June 20-22, 2018.

The members of the Water Friends Group also discussed the global water agenda.
