Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Member of European Parliament

On June 4, 2014 a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojidin Aslov with the Member of European Parliament Mr. Struan Stevenson took place.

During the meeting the parties discussed relations between Tajikistan and the European Union, as well as regional cooperation on energy, water management and environment.

The sides also exchanged views on situation in Afghanistan and discussed the elections results in European Parliament.

At the end of the meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs invited Mr. Stevenson to participate at the Regional Conference on Best Practices in energy cooperation to be organized by OSCE Office in Tajikistan and Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic Tajikistan on June 17, 2014 in Dushanbe.
