Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Special Envoy to Central Asia

On June 9, 2014 meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirodjidin Aslov with the Special Envoy to Central Asia Mr. Janos Herman took place.

During the meeting the main trends of cooperation between the EU and Tajikistan and the prospects of cooperation for 2014-2020 were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the issues of strengthening of border security, water management, energy and environment, the EU Strategy for Central Asia, as well as expansion of regional cooperation with participation of Afghanistan.
