Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy

             On July 7, 2019, in the framework of the annual Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Central Asia and the European Union, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met in Bishkek with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of fruitful cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union, including the implementation of the reached agreements during the visit of President of the European Council Donald Tusk to Tajikistan in May 2019.

           The sides expressed satisfaction over the level and content of the dynamically developing relations between Tajikistan and the European Union in the framework of various mechanisms of bilateral and regional cooperation. The exchange of views on key aspects of the partnership between Tajikistan and the European Union, including in the political, social, trade, economic, investment spheres, as well as in the field of security also took place.
