Meeting with ESMA Director-General

On February 9, 2020, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Bahodur Sharifi met with the Director-General of the Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority (ESMA), Mr. Abdullah Abdulqader al-Maeeni.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues was discussed regarding the creation of a legal framework and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the field of standardization, metrology and certification, as well as the possibility of exchanging information between the relevant authorities of both countries concerning the technical and regulatory requirements for importing goods into the markets of the UAE and the Persian Gulf countries.
