Meeting of the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the EU with the Vice President of the European Parliament

January 8, 2015, in Brussels, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the European Union, Ambassador Rustam Soliev held a meeting with the Vice President of the European Parliament Ryszard Czarnecki.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues concerning multilateral relations between Tajikistan and the European Union and expressed interest in further strengthening of the political, economic, social, trade, investment, educational, cultural and humanitarian ties.

Ryszard Czarnecki noted the willingness of the European Parliament for the further development of multilateral mutually beneficial relations between Tajikistan and European Union at the high level through parliamentary mechanisms.

At the meeting, the Permanent Representative welcomed Ryszard Czarnecki’s joining the Tajikistan-European Parliament Friendship Group and noted that such expansion of the Friendship Group will actively contribute to the strengthening of relations between Tajikistan and the European Union.
