Celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan in Ankara

On September 21, 2021, an official reception dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in Ankara.

In his opening speech, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkey Ashrafjon Gulov noted that independence is considered the greatest national value and achievement of the Tajik people and today Tajikistan is rapidly developing under the banner of the sovereignty and leadership of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon. It was also emphasized that during the 30 years of the country's independence, it was possible to provide a solid political and legal basis for the nation state and increase its international authority and image.

In his speech, the Deputy Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Celal Adan congratulated the glorious people of Tajikistan on the 30th anniversary of State independence, noting that it was during this period that relations between the two friendly countries developed and strengthened, having achieved significant results.

As part of the event was an exhibition of  "Tasty fruits of Tajikistan" as well as  paintings by talented Tajik artists as a symbol of a green country and people with own culture.

At the end of the event, the country’s artists and cultural figures brighten the mood of the quests with national songs and poems based on love for the motherland, protection of moral and human values.

The event was attended by more than 300 guests from various structures of the Republic of Turkey and the diplomatic corps, including representatives of the Office of the President of Turkey, the Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Parliament of the host country, ambassadors of foreign countries, representatives of the media, major industrial and trading companies, international organizations and the Tajik diaspora in Turkey. The event was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Cetin Ali Dönmez, the Deputy Minister for Family and Social Services Kubra Guran Yigitbashi and the Prosecutor General of Turkey Bekir Shahin.
