Working meeting on the implementation of the agreements reached at the 11th meeting of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation

On 17 November 2021, in Ankara, a working meeting was held at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkey with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Solehzoda Umed and Deputy Minister of Industry and Technologies of Turkey Chetin Ali Donmez in order to implement the agreements reached at the 11th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission between Tajikistan and Turkey on Economic Cooperation and the search for timely and effective ways to implement the Joint Action Plan.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as diplomatic missions of the two countries in online and offline formats.

During the meeting, the participants discussed ways of implementation of the relevant points of the mentioned Joint Action Plan on topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the fields of trade and investment, transport, industry, education and science, agriculture, migration, energy, healthcare, culture and tourism, as well as documents signed in the framework of the Commission meeting and the Industrial and Economic Forum of Tajikistan and Turkey.

In general, the meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and the parties discussed new ways of development of trade and economic cooperation and preparations for the next meeting of the Commission in Ankara in 2022.
