Tajik Ambassador Attends the Forum of the Federation of Saudi Chambers

On 15 February, 2022, Economic Forum to strengthen economic, trade and investment cooperation with Central Asia and Azerbaijan took place in Riyadh at the initiative of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The forum was attended by the Ambassadors of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan to Riyadh, the leadership and members of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, officials of the Islamic Development Bank, the Saudi Development Fund and representatives from more than 50 private companies more than 50 private sector companies of the host country.

In his speech at the forum, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi noted the economic, trade and investment opportunities, hydropower, agricultural, industrial and tourism potential of Tajikistan, as well as fiscal incentives the Tajik legislation offers to foreign investors.

During the event, a short video about the investment climate in Tajikistan was presented.
