Meeting of the Ambassador with the Vice President of Ziraat Bank of Turkiye

On March 7, 2022, in Istanbul, in the State Commercial Bank of Turkey "Ziraat Bank", a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashrafjon Gulov and the Vice President of the Ziraat Bank Yuksel Cesur.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation of the economy and serious shocks in the world financial markets, and also expressed their opinion on reducing the negative impact on the banking system of the countries.

Meanwhile in the meeting also were discussed the possibility of strengthening cooperation in the banking sector, including within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Turkiye on economic cooperation.

The parties noted the importance of organizing joint events to explore the possibilities of the banking sector of Tajikistan and Turkiye.
