Navruz celebration in Istanbul

On March 29, 2022, at the initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Istanbul, a solemn event dedicated to the International Holiday of Navruz was held.

The Consul General M. Saidzoda, in his speech, congratulated those present on the event and spoke about  the history and importance of the ancient holiday of our ancestors in the revival and preservation of the identity and national values of Tajikistan and the region as a whole.

At the event, a corner of Tajikistan was exhibited in accordance with folk customs and traditions, where the Tajik table was decorated with haftsin and haftshin and a variety of national dishes, cultural achievements of the country, including samples of national costumes, embroidery, chakan and other folk crafts.

A colorful concert program with the participation of  Folk artist of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlatmand Khol and famous singers Zulaikho Mahmadshoeva and Dilshod Fayzullo left an indeliable impression.
