Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan at the Sixth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan
On September 4, 2015 in Kabul the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by Sirodjidin Aslov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan participated at the Sixth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA-VI).
The Tajik Foreign Minister, in his statement at the Conference, inter alia, has addressed issues related to the need for social and economic development of Afghanistan, regional cooperation in such areas as infrastructure development, implementation of projects on construction of railways and automobile roads, power transmission lines and gas pipelines, training of Afghan specialists in educational institutions of Tajikistan, as well as implementation of agreements reached during the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA-V) held in 2012 in Dushanbe.
