Meeting of the Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar

On September 22, 2022 the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Doha, Khisrav Sohibzoda met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hammadi.

The Ambassador informed about the continuing provocations and hostile actions of Kyrgyzstan in the border areas and the tragic consequences of the armed aggression.

The Qatari side was presented with evidence of the use of heavy weapons and UAVs by the Kyrgyz army against the population and border guards, the killing of civilians during Friday prayers, the destruction of mosques, residential buildings, educational institutions and other important social facilities on the territory of Tajikistan.

During the conversation, which took place in a friendly environment and in an atmosphere of complete mutual understanding, topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Qatar were also discussed.
