Tajik-Austrian political consultations

On October 12, 2015 in Dushanbe the regular Tajik-Austrian political consultations chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi and the Secretary-General of the Federal Ministry for European Integration and Foreign Affairs of Austria Michael Linhart took place.

The sides exchanged views on the state and prospects for development of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic and cultural spheres, cooperation between the two countries in the framework of the European Union for Central Asia, priorities for Austria`s Chairmanship in Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2017, as well as the other issues of mutual interest.

The sides expressed readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas in order to facilitate the further expansion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Austria.
