Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs with the UNDP Country Director in Tajikistan

On November 11, 2015 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi has met with the Country Director of the United Nations Development Programme in Tajikistan Norimasa Shimomura,  in connection with the completion of his activities in Tajikistan.

During the meeting the parties have discussed the issues related with cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Nations Development Programme, the process of implementation of UNDP programs and projects in various areas, including projects aimed at management of consequences of natural disasters and strengthening of border infrastructure in Tajikistan.

N.Zohidi has expressed appreciation to the UNDP Country Director in Tajikistan Norimasa Shimomura for his personal contribution to the development and implementation of the programs and projects in various important spheres.

The meeting was also attended by the newly appointed UNDP Country Director in Tajikistan Ghulam Isaczai.
