Meeting of Foreign Minister with new U.S. Ambassador

On January 26, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Tajikistan Elisabeth Inga Millard on the occasion of presenting copies of credentials.

During the meeting the sides discussed the prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Also the exchange of views on regional security, particularly security issues on Tajik-Afghan border regions and US assistance in this direction was held.
