Celebration of the International Navruz Holiday at the permanent missions of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad

On March 19, 2024, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation, the celebration of International Navruz Holiday took place with the participation of guests, compatriots, activists of social movements, famous representatives of the intelligentsia and business community, as well as Tajik students.

At the event, a Tajik table was decorated with “Haftsin” and “Haftshin”, treats from Tajik dishes and sweets, as well as books about Tajikistan, gulduzi, chakan and other folk crafts.

On March 19, 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ashgabat with the participation of representatives of the diplomatic corps of Turkmenistan, guests, Tajik compatriots and employees of the Embassy celebrated the International Navruz Holiday.

During the festive event, the cultural corner was decorated with delicious national food and sweets, the symbols of Navruz; haft sin and haft shin were prepared and samples of national items, as well as handicrafts and embroidery, pottery, musical instruments, ancient folk crafts were exhibited.

On March 20, 2024, by the initiative of Permanent Missions of Tajikistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Pakistan, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Turkiye and Uzbekistan a solemn event dedicated to the celebration of the International Navruz Day was held at the United Nations Headquarter.

The event began with congratulatory messages from the President of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly Mr. Dennis Francis and representative of the UNESCO Ms. Lily Gray.

On March 21, 2024, in the Central Park of Astana, on the initiative of the Akimat of the Nura region, the international holiday Navruz was celebrated, in which the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan actively took part.

On the occasion of the great holiday, the Embassy of Tajikistan in Astana organized a national exhibition presenting culture, history and national attractions, which became the center of attention of numerous guests.
