On September 27, 2024, within the framework of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports.
On the basis of the signed Memorandum, the citizens of each Party who are holders of diplomatic, service and special passports are exempted from visa requirements for entry, exit, crossing and stay on the territory of the State of the other Party for a period not exceeding 90 (ninety) days within 180 (one hundred and eighty) days from the date of first entry.
This Memorandum of Understanding shall enter into force thirty (30) days after receipt of the last written notification by diplomatic means of the fulfillment of internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Agreement.
