Meeting with the Regional Director of the International Organization for Migration

On 24 August 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Sirodjidin Aslov has met with the Regional Director of International Organization for Migration (IOM) for Eastern and South Eastern Europe and Central Asia Ms. Argentina Szabados.

During the meeting the parties have discussed the issues of the current state and prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and IOM in the field of migration and implementation of joint programs and projects, as well as future plans of the Organization in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The sides have also exchanged views on the regulation of labor migration, including the rights and obligations of migrant workers and their social protection.
