Participation at the High Level Forum on the Culture of Peace

On 1 September 2016, Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations has attended and addressed the High Level Forum on the Culture of Peace.

In his speech, the Permanent Representative has expressed his views on the difficult situation in the world, including various threats to global peace and stability, such as terrorism, extremism, illicit drug trafficking, economic and financial difficulties etc. The Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN, also noticed the international significance of the inter-Tajik peace dialogue, which succeeded due to the age long wisdom and will of the Tajik people, in particular the tireless efforts and strong dedication of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
