Participation in the event on seismic risk management measures and technologies of Japan

On September 2, 2016 Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Dr. Hamrokhon Zarifi took part in the Event on Seismic Risk Management Measures and Technologies of Japan organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan with the participation of Japanese companies for representatives of Diplomatic Missions accredited in Japan.

During the event, representatives of Japanese companies Japan Bosai Platform, Nippon Steel & Sumikin Metal Products and GIKEN Ltd made presentations on the activities of their companies in the construction industry, the architectural design of buildings and production of advanced technology and the infrastructure used for disaster prevention.

After the presentation a tour to Takenaka Institute for Research and Development took place, in order to familiarize the representatives of Diplomatic Missions with activities involved by Takenaka Corporations in Architecture, Engineering & Construction Industry.

As part of this event, Ambassador of Tajikistan Dr. Hamrokhon Zarifi talked with representatives of the Japanese companies, including Japan Radio Co. Ldt, GIKEN Ltd, Kozo Keikaku Engineering Inc, Hitachi Zosen Corporation, Fujitsu Limited, Nippon Steel & Sumikin Metal Products, Japan Bosai Platform, Kokusai Kogyo and Takenaka Corporation and encouraged them jointly with the Tajik colleagues and counterparts to find ways to develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of construction industry in order to prevent natural disasters
