Participation in the United Nations General Assembly, High-level meeting to address the large movements of refugees and migrants

On 19 September 2016 on the sidelines of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sirodjidin Aslov, has participated in the UN General Assembly High-level meeting to address the large movements of refugees and migrants and delivered a speech during one of the roundtables of the above event.  

While talking about the problems and challenges of labor migration in Tajikistan, the Minister in particular has noted the necessity of taking joint effort at all levels for improvement of the regulation of migration processes, especially adaptation and integration of labor migrants in host countries, as well as in combating illegal migration.
