Bilateral relations of Tajikistan with Poland

Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Poland were established on February 11, 1992.     

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Tashkent) is Radoslaw Gruk.

In 1995 in Dushanbe the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon received the Special Representative of the President of Poland. During the meeting the parties discussed the future steps for establishment of trade and economic cooperation.

The foundation for development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation was laid during the official visits of the President of the Republic of Poland to Tajikistan in 2002 and the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Poland in 2003.

In 2018 in Dushanbe the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon met with the President of the Republic of Poland H.E. Mr. Andrzej Sebastian Duda.

Political consultations and the intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation serve as an important mechanism for strengthening and developing relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Poland.

As part of the exchange program between universities, Polish teachers come to Tajikistan with the aim of teaching Tajik students.

Legal framework of bilateral relations consists of more than 15 documents.

The volume of trade between Tajikistan and Germany in 2022 amounted to 23 millions of USD.
