Meetings of the Ambassador in Georgia

From September 6 to 9, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Georgia (with residence in Baku), Ilhom Abdurahmon, paid a working visit to Georgia, during which he held meetings with the Governor of the Kakheti Region, Giorgi Aladashvili, and the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Sulkhan Tamazashvili.

During the meetings, the current state and prospects of cooperation between the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the regions of Georgia were discussed.

The need to expand cooperation in the areas of culture, tourism, attracting investment, developing trade and economic ties, as well as other areas of mutual interest, was also emphasized.
