Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan

The Republic of Tajikistan regards the missile strikes on Doha on September 9, as an act of aggression against the territorial integrity of the State of Qatar and strongly condemns them. The act is a clear violation of international law and the fundamental principles of the UN Charter, which increases the tension in the already complex situation in the Middle East region.

Tajikistan always supports the use of diplomatic means and negotiations as an effective tool for the resolution of disputes and conflicts.
