Extraordinary Meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers

On September 25, 2025 on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, participated in an extraordinary meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Council of Foreign Ministers.

During his speech, the Minister emphasized the necessity of strengthening coordination and expanding security cooperation among CSTO member states to effectively counter growing regional and international threats, including terrorism, extremism, and illicit drug trafficking.

Additionally, during the meeting, the heads of foreign ministries of the member states discussed current issues on the Organization’s agenda.
