Participation in the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

On September 26, 2025, in the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, participated and addressed the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

In his remarks, Minister Muhriddin reaffirmed Tajikistan’s commitment to the principles of the OIC and called for stronger unity in addressing common challenges. He emphasized the importance of peace, stability, and cooperation across the Islamic world.

The Minister expressed concern over the crisis in Gaza and reiterated support for the two-state solution. He also highlighted the situation in Afghanistan and noted the need for joint efforts on climate and water issues, including glaciers’ preservation initiatives led by Tajikistan.
