The Participation of the Minister in the Economic Cooperation Organization Meeting

On November 28, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, virtually participated and spoke at the 29th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan based on the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that Tajikistan supports the creation of a modern, smart, and environmentally sustainable transport network connecting Central, South, and West Asia.

Sirojiddin Muhriddin, noting Tajikistan's leading role in the development, promotion, and implementation of global water initiatives, invited ECO member states to the Fourth International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action, "Water for Sustainable Development," scheduled for May 2026 in Dushanbe.

The parties discussed the scope of cooperation within the organization and ways to strengthen it.
