Meeting with the Asia Director for Research impact of the International Water Management Institute

On December 2, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, held a meeting with Mr. Johan Gely, the Asia Director for Research impact of the International Water Management Institute.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the enhancement of cooperation with the Institute in the areas of water resource issues and climate, as well as the implementation of regional related projects.

The Minister also provided an update on the preparations for the Fourth High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028," which will take place in Dushanbe in May 2026. He invited the International Water Management Institute to collaborate in the preparation and organization of the mentioned High-level event.
