Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia

On May 18, 2017 in Brussels the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Lukáš Parízek.

During the meeting, the parties considered topical issues of development of relations between Tajikistan and Slovakia.

S. Aslov and L. Parízek expressed interest in strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of trade and economy, transport, energy, agriculture, health, education and culture. In this context, the parties highly commended the role of interdepartmental political consultations and business round table of the two countries, which took place in November 2016 in Dushanbe.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the cooperation of Tajikistan and Slovakia within the framework of international organizations and on other issues of mutual interest.
