Meeting of the Foreign Minister with the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority

On April 1, 2014 in Riyadh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov met with the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority Abdullatif bin Ahmed Al Othman, who at the same time co-chairs the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the two countries.

During the meeting the sides discussed cooperation between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia in the areas that were identified at the first meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, held in August 2013, in Dushanbe.

The sides noted that the Joint Commission is an important tool in the development and strengthening of trade and economic interactions between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia.
