Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin in the framework of his official visit 22 April 2019 met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu. After the mınısters meeting, the delegations also held talks.

During the talks, a wide range of issues related to the current state, bilateral and multilateral relations and prospects for cooperation were discussed.

The sides exchanged views on cooperation in politics, economy, trade, investment, industry, education, culture, tourism, security, combating terrorism and strengthening the legal framework for cooperation.

At the same time, the parties coordinated their further actions on  international policy and within the framework of international and regional organizations.

The Foreign Ministers signed a Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in the field of archives.

Following the negotiations, the Foreign Ministers of the two countries held a press conference for media representatives and answered journalist's questions.
